Beware! These Fruit Should not Eat too much
Fruit is good to our health, but many kinds of fruit mustn’t eat too much.
1, Litchi
Litchi taste is very delicious, delicious. But should not eat litchi, or may be suffering from litchi disease. Because most of litchi is contained in monosaccharide fructose, fructose is absorbed by the body subject to a range of enzyme catalysis, can change into glucose for energy or stored as glycogen, oxidized cells were used. If an excessive consumption of litchis, eating too much fructose, leading to glucose (blood sugar means the concentration of glucose in the blood) levels lower than normal caused a lot of hypoglycaemia. Therefore, litchi disease is an acute disease caused by low blood sugar, expressed as early onset, often sweating, cold extremities, fatigue, abdominal pain, such as the early symptoms of mild diarrhea, followed by sudden convulsions, coma. Without treatment, people will die within a few hours. Particularly children, should be careful not to eat, otherwise it will seriously affect health.
2, Watermelon
Of sweet watermelon cooler, where heat, thirst, hot upset, eat watermelon may be appropriate in order to cool off; but eat not conducive to good health. This is because, from a theoretical point of view of Chinese medicine, watermelon, cold, excessive consumption could easily lead to Wei Han, Fu Man abdominal distension, gastrointestinal symptoms and other undesirable decline in digestion. In addition, watermelon contains very rich in sugar, eat watermelon, it will eating lots of sugar, excess carbohydrates into fat accumulation in the body, the fluids become acidic environment, influence human health, but also of a balanced diet , so that the protein, minerals and other intake reduced, causing nutritional imbalance. Therefore, should not eat watermelon.
3, Persimmon

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is a condition wherein a child has an inattentive, hyperactive, and impulsive behavior that is severe. The common features include anxiety, mood swings, impulsivity, poor concentration and sleeping disorders. The ADHD diet for children is a very important factor that may contribute to treat ADHD. This kind of diet helps the brain to be focused and organized. This must be good for children. It must contain nutritious foods and ADHD medications. It must be free from all the food allergens because it may cause negative effects not only on the development of the child but also his overall health. If one of your children has ADHD, you are probably looking for information on how you can help him get focused and succeed in school and how to feed him the right food for his condition.
The main allergens include eggs, milk, fish high in mercury, food with coloring, preservatives, artificial sweeteners, food additives, and others. The diet must exclude foods that are rich in sugar and chocolates.
Go organic. It is best to feed your child with organic foods. These foods bypass the pesticides, toxins and additives that may impair the concentration in some children.
Balance the carbohydrates and proteins. Carbohydrates include loads of vegetables, and fruits such as pears, apples, kiwis, tangerines, oranges, etc. Give this to your child in the night to encourage sleeping and will be helpful to provide rest in children. But never give them carbohydrates like candies, sugar, white rice and potatoes with skin on. It may cause malnutrition.
Add DHA supplements. DHA is a fatty acid that is essential for the reduction of cardiovascular disease. It plays a key role in the brain function. Doctors recommend 400 mg a day. It is essential for the brain eyes and heart. It naturally exists in sea food, walnuts, flaxseed oil, cold water fish like tuna, salmon, sardines, trout and herring.
Add multivitamins. It is effective and a must for the ADHD children. It is a valuable tool to dietary imbalances. People with a dietary imbalance are those who have problems in their diet like they can’t eat or won’t eat a nutritious meal. Vitamins and minerals like iron, amino acids, organic acids, ferritin, provision of vitamin B complex especially B6 and B3, magnesium, zinc, must be given to your child to help his body become healthy.
Avoid fishes that are high in mercury. Most fishes and shellfish contain mercury that can affect children’s ability to think and concentrate. High in mercury fishes include swordfish, shark, tilefish and mackerel.
The main point here is how you can attract your child to eat the right food. Make sure when you prepare food for them, it must me in contrasting colors like orange and green. They will get attracted to it and eat it right away.

Cholesterol become a problem not only for the old but also for the youth nowadays. Moreover, there are many children which have problems with cholesterol. The children often can’t control their cholesterol level. Their eating habits are very bad and it cause the high level of cholesterol. Because of that, the children who have a high level of cholesterol must get the healthy food. It is needed to reduce their cholesterol level until the normal level. The sufferers of the high cholesterol level itself are usually appeared because of the poor food choices. They can’t find the healthy foods for their body. The parents must make sure that the foods which are consumed by their children are healthy and good to be consumed. Those right foods will avoid the children from the high level of cholesterol. With the normal level of cholesterol, the children are also avoided from the continuation diseases such as heart attack. For the parents, there are tips to choose the healthy foods and good lifestyle and avoid the heart disease. The tips are teach the children about healthy eating and cholesterol, Let children make healthy food choices for themselves, and control the cholesterol foods and attitude of the children. The children also copy what their parents have done. So the parents have to be careful of their behavior or their children will copy it. We continue about the tips. The other tips are, don’t give reward to the children by taking them eating in the unhealthy foods in the restaurant, bring the children to go food shopping, see the foods which are consumed by the children, take the children to the nutritionist, and many others. Those tips give a way for the parents to protect their children more and more, especially in reducing high level of cholesterol purpose and keeping the children healthy.

Did you know that our society is in the midst of a health craze? Any way you turn there is information about being healthier. Eating healthy foods is obviously one of the best ways to improve your health. However when people hear those two words they think of boring, bland foods that are widely available as a natural food co-op. Although healthy foods are things that you have eaten almost every day, at times just prepared in a different way.
Healthy foods as well as eating habits are pleasing both to the palate and plate. However one must remember that healthy foods is that the closer the food is to its natural state the healthier it is for you. Firstly you can start changing your eating habits to more healthy foods by cutting down on the number of prepared foods that you eat. Prepackaged foods are loaded with preservatives and artificial ingredients. Sure packaged foods are convenient, but healthy foods can be also, especially once you get into the habit of preparing them.
Healthy foods are very easy to prepare. In fact it doesn’t take much time or money to eat healthy foods. Here is a simple example of a fantastic meal that is easy to prepare, low-priced and features healthy foods. Grill lean hamburger patties until well-cooked. Next place the patties on whole grain all natural hamburger buns. You can serve the burgers with a large tossed salad as well as a side of steamed green beans. Follow this easy meal with a serving of fresh fruit for dessert. This meal can be on your table in less than half an hour and involves all healthy foods.
Grilling or baking lean meats, fish or chicken does not take to long to prepare. Tossing a salad of fresh greens and vegetables can easily be done while the meat is cooking. Alternatively you can round out the meals by using fresh or frozen vegetables. For added variety to your meals you can try using different healthy foods that you haven’t tasted before. Check the produce section of your local grocer which is stocked with a whole range of healthy foods including exotic fruits and vegetables. A good number produce sections offer recipes and tips to show how to prepare fruits and vegetables that you may not be familiar with. This is a great way to expose your children to a variety of healthy foods. Of course, you can experiment with many different fresh herbs that are also available in the produce sections that you can try to add different tastes to your meals.
You can prepare healthy foods on a regular basis to prepare fast nutritious meals. Healthy foods can also be used in more exotic recipes when you have the time. Healthy foods can also be prepared ahead of time and frozen for later use. You can be assured that when you prepare your own frozen foods, you know that they are not full of artificial additives and preservatives. Encourage children to get involve in the preparation of the healthy foods, thus creating a time when each can share about their day. Eating healthy foods do not have to cost you time or money, and they are certainly a better option for you.

Stress in America: Overweight Children Are Affected More
Americans are really stressed out — not least of all American kids, according to a new survey from the American Psychological Association. The report found that children who are overweight or obese feel particularly stressed, more so than their normal-weighted peers. And such stress may have a lasting impact on other lifestyle behaviors that negatively affect overweight kids’ health.
The new report, “Stress in America 2010,” found that the majority of Americans continue to live with moderate to high levels of stress, and while they know this isn’t healthy, they say they face obstacles that prevent them from managing or reducing their stress. They also acknowledge that they have trouble adopting other healthy behaviors like eating right, exercising and getting enough sleep.
The effects of all of that appear to be trickling down to their families, particularly in households with overweight or obese parents. Obese parents were more likely than normal-weight parents to have overweight kids, and parents with overweight kids were less likely to report often or always eating healthy foods, compared with parents of thin children. What’s more, thin parents said they engaged in physical activity with their families more often than fat parents.
Along with the tendency toward unhealthy lifestyle behaviors, fat parents and fat children shared higher levels of stress. For instance, while 31% of overweight children reported worrying about their lives, only 14% of their healthy weighted counterparts did the same. When researchers asked about specific symptoms of stress and depression, the rates of positive responses in overweight children went up and stayed higher than in normal-weight kids: overweight children were more likely than children of healthy weight to have trouble sleeping at night (48% vs. 33%), feel angry or get into fights (22% vs. 13%), experience headaches (43% vs. 28%) or feel listless and like they didn’t want to do anything (34% vs. 21%). Further, children who believed they were overweight were more likely to report a parent who was “always” or often stressed out in the past month (39% vs. 30%).
Although the majority of parents didn’t their kids were affected by their stress, 91% of all children surveyed said they could tell when a parent was upset about something, and could perceive their emotional distress when they argued, complained or acted worried. Nearly half of “tween” children aged 8 to 12 and one-third of teens aged 13 to 17 reported feeling sad in response to a parent’s distress, while large proportions also felt worried or frustrated. And while 86% of tweens said they felt comfortable talking to their parents about stressful situations, only 50% had done so in the previous month.
Additional survey data suggested that while overweight kids feel more stress, stress can also lead to additional weight gain. Most of the children interviewed said they used sedentary activities to manage their stress: 36% of tweens and 66% of teens listened to music, 56% of tweens and 41% of teens played video games, and 34% of tweens and 30% of teens watched TV. Further, 48% of overweight teens and tweens reported disordered eating (either too much or too little) when stressed out, compared with only 16% of children at a healthy weight.
With nearly 1 in 5 children in America being overweight, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, managing stress as part of a total weight-control plan can only help.

Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children Premium Health and Beauty Care for Free
With the birth of each child, as parents, we want their life to be perfect and free of hardship, sickness and pain. However, this is never the case. This is life. When my oldest son was born everything went really well, and he was absolutely perfect. In fact, a man at church had told me when I was pregnant, health and beauty
“This is your first child so there is something you should know, all babies are ugly. They look like aliens. “
After seeing my new baby a few weeks after he was born, he had to eat those words pretty fast. A year later my son started to walk. He was right on target with all his development. At first he walked normally, then around two years old he started walking on his toes. At first we thought it was cute, but as he got older it health and beauty became the only way he would, or could walk. My pediatrician then said we would keep an eye on it. Later, when my son was five years old and preparing to go into elementary school, the doctor said it was time to see some specialists.
After going to a Orthopedic Surgeon where we got X-rays, and a few visits to the Neurologist where a MRI was ordered and performed (one of the hardest things I’ve experienced with any of my children) he was diagnosed as an idiopathic toe walker. Idiopathic is a term given to something that is undefined in the medical world. It happens, but they don’t know why. This was actually a relief because toe walking is most commonly linked to autism, cerebral palsy, or Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

At first we didn’t know what to do with a diagnosis like that. The doctors all recommended physical therapy. We went through about a year of therapy with out any lasting progress. As my son got older he wanted to know what was wrong with him. It was hard to explain something unexplainable to a five year old. Other children, and even well meaning adults,
began to ask him if he wanted to be a ballet dancer when he grew up, or why couldn’t he just walk right? It started to effect him socially and mentally, and we knew we had to do something. At one point I changed pediatricians because we had moved and needed someone closer to our new home. My new Pediatrician asked me on the very first visit if I had ever heard of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
I remembered my mom had mentioned the Shiners having hospitals of some sort, but had been unable to find anything out with the little information I had. My doctor referred us to the Children’s Hospital, we were accepted quicker than anyone anticipated, and we had an appointment just a month later.Texas Scottish Rite Hospital was founded in 1920 when a group of Masons approached Dallas’ first orthopedic surgeon Dr. W. B. Carrell about caring for children with polio regardless of the family’s ability to pay. That snow balled into the inclusion of other orthopedic conditions, and today they have treated over 190,000 children. The hospital is now one of the world leaders in the treatment of orthopedic conditions and treatments.

They provide these services with donations from the community and generous sponsors and donors. Each patient and their family that comes through the hospital pays nothing. My experience there was awesome. As I said we were accepted right away. You have to be referred by a physician to be considered for acceptance. That is the only requirement. You don’t have to be uninsured, and you don’t even have to qualify in anyway financially to be a patient.

The most precious words may be heard and not appreciated because the mind is confused by an improper diet.Food should not be eaten very hot or very cold.Overeating is especially harmful to those who are sluggish in temperament; these should eat sparingly and take plenty of physical exercise.The stomach may never entirely recover health after long abuse; but a proper course of diet will save further debility, and many will recover more or less fully.Strong men who are engaged in active physical labor are not compelled to be as careful as to the quantity or quality of their food as are persons of sedentary habits; but even these would have better health if they would practice self-control in eating and drinking.
They overeat, and then regret it, and so they keep thinking about what they eat and drink.But often the work of those who have important plans to consider and important decisions to make is affected for evil by the results of improper diet.As a consequence the free flow of thought and words is checked.We ourselves must suffer the results of violated law.In cold weather the food prepared the day before should be heated.Custom has decreed that the food shall be placed upon the table in courses.Sometimes the result of overeating is felt at once.
Not knowing what is coming next, one may eat a sufficiency of food which perhaps is not the best suited to him.As a consequence the digestive organs are often worn out when they should be capable of doing good work.By overeating on the Sabbath, many do more than they think to unfit themselves for receiving the benefit of its sacred opportunities.It is not easy to prescribe rules that will meet every case; but, with attention to right principles in eating, great reforms may be made, and the cook need not be continually toiling to tempt the appetite.But with many the faintness is interpreted as a demand for more food; so instead of giving the stomach rest, another burden is placed upon it.They cannot write or speak with the force and intensity necessary in order to reach the heart; their efforts are tame and fruitless.Some who are continually overeating call this all-gone feeling hunger; but it is caused by the over-worked condition of the digestive organs.When one is excited, anxious, or hurried, it is better not to eat until rest or relief is found.Many writers and speakers fail here.Cold drinks are injurious for the same reason; while the free use of hot drinks is debilitating.
The stomach is saying, “Give me rest.A clogged stomach means a clogged brain.Abstemiousness in diet is rewarded with mental and moral vigor; it also aids in the control of the passions.And let the meals, however simple, be palatable and attractive.The stomach is closely related to the brain; and when the stomach is diseased, the nerve power is called from the brain to the aid of the weakened digestive organs.At mealtime cast off care and anxious thought; do not feel hurried, but eat slowly and with cheerfulness, with your heart filled with gratitude to God for all His blessings.Immediately after eating there is a strong draft upon the nervous energies; and when mind or body is heavily taxed just before or just after eating, digestion is hindered.Many a plan that would have been a blessing to the world has been set aside, many unjust, oppressive, even cruel measures have been carried, as the result of diseased conditions due to wrong habits of eating.
Especially in families where there are children, it is well, on the Sabbath, to provide something that will be regarded as a treat, something the family do not have every day.When dyspepsia has resulted from abuse of the stomach, efforts should be made carefully to preserve the remaining strength of the vital forces by removing every overtaxing burden.Do not eat largely of salt, avoid the use of pickles and spiced foods, eat an abundance of fruit, and the irritation that calls for so much drink at mealtime will largely disappear.Another serious evil is eating at improper times, as after violent or excessive exercise, when one is much exhausted or heated.In fact, the more liquid there is taken with the meals, the more difficult it is for the food to digest; for the liquid must be absorbed before digestion can begin.If food is cold, the vital force of the stomach is drawn upon in order to warm it before digestion can take place.Obedience to the laws of health is to be made a matter of personal duty.Take active exercise every day, and see if you do not receive benefit.
If the strain is not too great, new vigor comes with every taxation.More than others, they need to be temperate in eating.Instead of this the food should be more simple, and less should be eaten in order that the mind may be clear and vigorous to comprehend spiritual things.When these demands are too frequent, the brain becomes congested.It lays a heavy tax on the digestive organs, and when these organs have accomplished their task, there is a feeling of faintness or languor.The surplus food burdens the system and produces morbid, feverish conditions.A disordered stomach produces a disordered, uncertain state of mind.Often it causes irritability, harshness, or injustice.One person cannot lay down an exact rule for another.Food should be eaten slowly and should be thoroughly masticated.In other cases there is no sensation of pain; but the digestive organs lose their vital force, and the foundation of physical strength is undermined.Rich and luxurious food should have no place upon their tables.Those upon whom rest important responsibilities, those, above all, who are guardians of spiritual interests, should be men of keen feeling and quick perception.
This is not as it should be.Some wish that an exact rule could be prescribed for their diet.Where wrong habits of diet have been indulged, there should be no delay in reform.At times there is numbness of the brain, with disinclination to mental or physical effort.These unpleasant symptoms are felt because nature has accomplished her work at an unnecessary outlay of vital force and is thoroughly exhausted.After eating heartily, they give themselves to sedentary occupations, reading, study, or writing, allowing no time for physical exercise.If all the food intended for a meal is placed on the table at the beginning, one has opportunity to make the best choice.The mind strengthens under the correct treatment of the physical and mental powers.Our bodies are Christ’s purchased possession, and we are not at liberty to do with them as we please.Often they have to think rapidly, and this can be done successfully by those only who practice strict temperance.This is an error.This is necessary in order that the saliva may be properly mixed with the food and the digestive fluids be called into action.Therefore the question with us is not, “What is the world’s practice?Everyone should exercise reason and self-control, and should act from principle.
There are men and women of excellent natural ability who do not accomplish half what they might if they would exercise self-control in the denial of appetite.Many who discard flesh meats and other gross and injurious articles think that because their food is simple and wholesome they may indulge appetite without restraint, and they eat to excess, sometimes to gluttony.Here is a suggestion for all whose work is sedentary or chiefly mental; let those who have sufficient moral courage and self-control try it: At each meal take only two or three kinds of simple food, and eat no more than is required to satisfy hunger.Cooking on the Sabbath should be avoided; but it is not therefore necessary to eat cold food.The digestive organs should not be burdened with a quantity or quality of food which it will tax the system to appropriate.It calls an undue amount of blood to the stomach, causing the limbs and extremities to chill quickly.
When the last course is brought on, he often ventures to overstep the bounds, and take the tempting dessert, which, however, proves anything but good for him.We must individually answer to God for our habits and practices.All who understand the laws of health should realize their obligation to obey these laws which God has established in their being.Every day men in positions of trust have decisions to make upon which depend results of great importance.We should not provide for the Sabbath a more liberal supply or a greater variety of food than for other days.When the brain is constantly taxed, and there is lack of physical exercise, even plain food should be eaten sparingly.How shall I as an individual treat the habitation that God has given me?

As a parent with children who suffer from eczema, your concern about them is easy to understand. And as a caring parent, you are most likely seeking out eczema treatments that are proper for your kids. To your dismay, you will see that most of the eczema remedies for adults aren’t appropriate for children and their eczema. But, you shouldn’t be totally discouraged by this since children have their own brand of remedies for eczema.
If your children or babies develop red and oozing scaly rashes or thick patches of dry skin on their neck, arms, and legs, it is more likely that they have atopic dermatitis – the most common type of eczema that plagues people. This type of eczema is the only one that shows up beginning in infancy and childhood, only to be carried on throughout their lifetime. Although this is not the case for all infants and children who develop eczema, it is true for the large percentage of them who continue to show symptoms of atopic dermatitis until adulthood.
It must be very difficult for you to see your kids horribly uncomfortable as they continuously scratch their eczema rashes. As much as you want to help your children and their eczema by going to any means to comfort and relieve them of their body rashes and itching, there are only a limited number of things that you can do for them. For example, you can’t just apply OTC eczema creams on their rashes especially those found on the face. That’s because children and babies have the increased risk of accidentally ingesting or contaminating their eyes with these creams.
Nonetheless, the limited options of treatment for children and their eczema are still effective and reasonable enough to provide them relief. The following, are three useful methods that you can do to provide your children their much-needed relief from annoying eczema symptoms.
Moisturizing Baths and Lotions Children and babies with eczema of the atopic kind manifest dry eczema rashes. These rashes are not only unpleasant to the sight but they’re also not good for the skin. The skin is a protective barrier that protects the human body from infection and these rashes only disrupt the skin’s ability to act as such. That is why dry skin cures are necessary to help the skin get back in shape.
Bathing your babies and children with mild, non-irritating, and hypoallergenic moisturizing soap is one of the ways that you can moisturize their skin. By doing so, you will be able to assist the health of their skin and provide minor relief from the itchiness caused by a dry rash. While bathing, do not rub the skin harshly with soap as this will only continue to cause skin irritation. Afterward, dry your babies and children by patting their skin with a soft cotton towel.
Following a bath, you can also apply mild, moisturizing lotions on the skin of your child or baby. Choose only lotions that are appropriate for pediatric use to avoid aggravating their eczema.
Clothing: Clothing touches the skin and is therefore a factor that can either aggravate or improve eczema. Parents are advised to keep their children away from clothes made of synthetic cloth. First of all, synthetic cloth is rough to the touch. When constantly rubbing against the skin, synthetic clothing can worsen the eczema of your little ones. Another thing is that synthetic cloth also traps heat and could cause your children and babies to sweat. And sweating isn’t exactly helpful for children and their eczema. In reality, sweat can even cause eczema in some who have sensitive skin.
